Petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by the representation addressed to the Officer-in-Charge, Beniapukuar Police Station not being addressed in its proper perspective.

Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State-respondents submits a report. Report reflects that one Md. Barik lodged a complaint pursuant to which New Market Police Station Case No.73 dated 13.04.2022 was registered for investigation wherein charge-sheet was submitted against the present petitioner. Learned CJM, Kolkata is in seisin of the issue.

If the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities, petitioner would adhere to the provisions of the Code/Sanhita and approach the jurisdictional Magistrate in respect of the reliefs sought for by him.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 30118 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
