AD 55 January 30, 2026 Ct. 28 SG CRM(A) 45 of 2026 Reject An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Harishchandrapur P.S. Case No.869 of 2025 dated 19.11.2025 under Sections 329(3)/117(2)/118(2)/109/3(5) of the BNS.

Bhakat ... for the State Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there was a dispute between family members over demarcation of land. There were case and counter case.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail, relies on the injury reports showing infliction of injuries on vital parts of the body like head and statements of the victim and the other witnesses and submits that five persons had received injuries in all. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
