Mr. Soumya Mazumder Mr. Amitabrata Roy Mr. Arkadipta Sengupta ..for the University It has been submitted by the University that the College lacked teaching faculty members. However, on 6th January, 2024, three faculty members have been selected.

Mr. Kar, learned senior advocate appearing for the University submits that the College is yet to recruit one teacher in the subject, namely 'Foundation'.

I do not find any justification to keep this writ petition pending.

The College will send the names of two suitable candidates for selection of faculty members for the said

subject within five days from date. The University will, accordingly, select one of them for the said subject. After the selection procedure is complete, the College will be at liberty to submit all the necessary documents in terms of the notification dated December 29, 2023 before the University. Upon consideration of the said documents submitted by the College, the University shall immediately take a decision with regard to the renewal of the affiliation to the College. Accordingly, WPA 28939 of 2023 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
