Petitioner contends he has been falsely implicated in the case. Accordingly, he prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer.

Learned Advocate for the victim contends victim had been subjected to penetrative sexual assault and her parents have been threatened.

We have considered the materials on record.

Statement of the victim implicates the petitioner in the offence of penetrative sexual assault. Vulnerable witnesses are yet to be examined.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected.
