The present revisional application has been preferred praying for amalgamation of the proceeding arising out of Karaya Police Station Case No. 193 dated August 5, 2022 under Sections 406/409/420/467/468/471/477A/120B of Indian Penal Code, 1860, pending before the Court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipore with proceeding being No. RC 2172022A0007 dated August 31, 2022 under Sections 420/120B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 13(2) read with Section 13(1) (d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

Learned senior counsel Mr. Trivedi is present on behalf of the CBI. As Mr. Trivedi is not assisted by a junior counsel Mr. Trivedi is at liberty to take the assistance of a junior of his choice from the respective panel. The appointment of the learned junior be regularized by the appropriate authority.

The learned Public Prosecutor places a report along with relevant documents stating that the local P.S. is waiting to initiate investigation regarding the incident and prima facie commission of offence in the present case.

Accordingly the revisional application is disposed of with the direction that Karaya .P.S. Case No. 193/2022 be amalgamated with RC 2172022A0007/2022 and the total investigation in the present case be handed over to the CBI to proceed in accordance with law.
