The innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of the appeal bearing no. 22 of 2023 preferred by him which is pending before the Divisional Commissioner, Burdwan, being the 3rd respondent herein. Upon consideration of the submission made by the parties, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal being Appeal no. 22 of 2023 within two months from the date of communication of this order, in accordance with law. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
