In the instant writ petition, the petitioner is an employee of the Eastern Coalfields Limited. He has prayed for consideration of his representation for disbursement of the amount incurred by him for his treatment in a private hospital at Kolkata. 2.

It appears that the representation by the petitioner was received by the authority in December 2020 and that the same is alleged to be kept pending.

Without entering into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the fourth respondent herein - Chief Medical Service (I/C), Eastern Coalfields Limited, Sanctoria - to take a decision on the petitioner's representation strictly in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner forthwith.

If the claim of the petitioner is allowed, then

necessary consequential steps shall be taken. 6.

Learned counsel for the petitioner shall forward a copy of the subject representation along with all supporting documents to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating this order.

As the writ petition is disposed of without calling for any affidavit, the allegations contained therein are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents.

All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
