According to the learned advocate, there are hardly any materials against the present petitioner and, if at all, the allegations are accepted to be true, the same may be a case of attempt and/or request so made at the behest of the present petitioner. Learned advocate for the defacto-complainant is present and opposes the prayer for bail.

Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary which shows complicity of the present petitioner in the alleged offence.

Having considered the gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

It has been informed that the case has not been committed till date to the court of Sessions. The learned Sessions Court is directed to proceed with the trial of the case in accordance with law.

Accordingly, CRM(M) 2911 of 2025 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
