The subject matter in the instant writ petition is relating to dishonour of a cheque. The petitioner has approached this Court as the information which was furnished to the police authority on or about 29th August, 2024 were not acted upon.

A report has been submitted on behalf of the State which reflects that Bankura Police Station Case No. 408 of 2024 dated 20.12.2024 has been registered under Section 318(2) of BNSS, 2023.

In view of the police complaint being registered, the grievance of the writ petitioner seems to be subserved. As such no further interference is called for in the present writ petition.

Report filed by the State in Court today be kept with the record.

Accordingly, W.P.A. No. 30306 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
