1. Learned advocates for the parties are present.

2. The matter is put up for necessary rectification and clarification of order dated 05.03.2026. In the order dated 05.03.2026 the appellant National Insurance Company Limited was directed to deposit and pay Rs.26,00,000/- along with interest @ 6% per annum from the date of filing of the claim case till today in favour of respondent Nos. 1 to 5. It was clarified that in the event compensation awarded by the learned Trial Court is already deposited the balance amount shall be deposited.

3. It is hereby clarified that such deposit shall be made before the office of the learned Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta.

4. The respondent Nos. 1 to 5 upon the deposit being made will be entitled to withdraw the compensation

amount upon compliance of all necessary formalities.

5. It is submitted by learned advocate for the appellant National Insurance Company Limited, time to deposit be extended by two weeks. The appellant national Insurance Company Limited is permitted to deposit the same on or before 10th May 2026.

6. Other contents of the order dated 05.03.2026 shall remain unaltered.
