2. None appears for the victim despite service.

3. Petitioner is in custody in excess of 1 and 1/ 2 years.

4. Trial is in progress.

5. Out of 13 prosecution witnesses one was examined.

6. Petitioner stands implicated in respect of penetrative sexual assault of a minor of 5 years.

7. Materials placed on record do not make it desirable to enlarge the petitioner on bail given the stage of the trial.

8. Consequently, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

9. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

10. CRM (DB) 4364 of 2024 is dismissed.
