Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners' application under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 has been kept pending by the concerned District Magistrate, that is, respondent no.2 inordinately, beyond the statutory period. 2.

Learned counsel for the State submits that some time may be given to the District Magistrate to dispose of the said matter.

Affidavit-of-service filed in court today be kept on record.

None appears for the private respondents.

WPA 29055 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent no.2, that is, the District Magistrate, North 24 Parganas to dispose of the application filed by the petitioners under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 pending before the said

District Magistrate as expeditiously as possible, positively within four weeks from date, subject of course to there being no legal impediment otherwise in doing so.

There will be no order as to costs.
