Batabyal ...for the State Mr. Bipul Kumar Mdndal ...for the respondent nos. 4 to 6 The petitioners allege that there has been an erroneous recording in the Record of Rights and has approached this Court praying for a direction upon the respondent authorities to cancel the recording in the Record of Rights in respect of the plot in question and to record the name of the petitioners in the Record of Rights as against the said plot.

In view of alternative, efficacious remedy available under the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal Act, 1997, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition.

Faced with such situation Mr. Roy, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners, prays for leave

to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to approach the appropriate forum.

The State and the Union of India are represented.

In the light of the submissions made by Mr. Roy, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioners to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law.
