1. Petitioner prays for bail.

2. Police filed charge sheet.

3. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 228 days. Petitioner works as a goldsmith out of the State. Petitioner was falsely implicated.

4. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, stolen articles were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Such stolen articles were identified in the Test Identification Parade both by the victim as well as by the son of the victim.

5. Apparently, the victim was accosted by a number of persons while the victim was on the way back to his residence after closing his shop. Victim is engaged in the business as a goldsmith. Gold and silver articles were stolen in the incident. Some of the stolen articles were recovered from the petitioner as noted above and identified

both by the victim as well as the son of the victim as belonging to the petitioner.

6. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

8. CRM (DB) 4384 of 2024 is dismissed.
