Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the warrant of arrest issued by the learned Judicial Magistrate, 8th Court, Alipore in connection with MEX Case No. 288 of 2022 is not being executed.

None appears on behalf of the state.

Having considered the plight of the petitioner who happens to be a destitute lady and approached the court for maintenance wherein a direction was passed earlier by the High Court and was not complied with, I direct the Officer-in-Charge, Maheshtala Police Station to take immediate steps for tracing out the respondent no. 4, Rajkumar Sharma and produce him before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 8th Court, Alipore. A compliance report be submitted by the Officer-in-Charge, Maheshtala Police Station to the Superintendent of Police,

Diamond Harbour within a fortnight from date regarding the steps taken for tracing out the respondent no. 4.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 30541 of 2024 is disposed of.

Petitioner is directed to communicate this order to the Officer-in-Charge, Maheshtala Police Station as well as the Superintendent of Police, Diamond Harbour.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
