1. Affidavit of service, as filed, be kept with the record.

2. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher in a School.

3. The application for transfer made by the petitioner has been pending since 2021, before the concerned District Inspector of Schools (DI).

4. Presently, since there is no impediment in transferring a teacher, even if he/she is a single teacher in the subject, the petitioner's application ought to be considered.

5. However, since a long period of time has lapsed, which may have resulted in change of circumstances, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh application for transfer with the School Authorities by 10.04.2026.

6. The School Authorities will consider such application.

7. If the petitioner is found to be otherwise eligible, the School Authorities are directed to forward the same to the concerned D.I. within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of the application from the petitioner.

8. The suspension of 'Utsashree Portal' will not be an impediment for the concerned authority to consider the application for transfer of the petitioner. The same

9. With these observations, WPA/177/2026 is disposed of. No order as to costs.
