Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner prays for consideration of his representation dated November 29, 2023 filed before the Vice Chancellor, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya.

Relevant paragraph of the representation is quoted below:

"Given that my 62nd birthday is approaching in January 2024, and considering my previous transition from a permanent government post to the AICRP on Palms with the requisite government approvals, I seek clarity regarding the trajectory of my service post the age of 62. In light of the aforementioned circumstances, and with the aim of preventing any future ambiguities, I humbly request your intervention to facilitate my transfer to the vacant Associate Professor

position in the Department of PSMA, aligning with the Kolkata High Court verdict."

He prays for a direction upon the Vice Chancellor, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya to consider his representation.

Having regard to the aforesaid prayer, I dispose of the said petition with a direction upon the Vice Chancellor, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya to consider the representation dated November 29, 2023 within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of this order. It is made clear that I have not gone into the merits of the case of the petitioner.

The Vice Chancellor will decide the representation in accordance with law.

Accordingly, WPA 29066 of 2023 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible. (Kausik Chanda, J.)
