Out of 15 prosecution witnesses, 11 stands examined. 3.

Petitioner stands implicated in murdering his mother. 4.

Statement of the father of the petitioner implicates the petitioner in assault with a sharp cutting weapon. 5.

Post-mortem report of the victim corroborates such statement.

Notwithstanding the period of custody, considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 7.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

CRM (DB) 4390 of 2024 is dismissed.
