1. Report as to the health and medical condition of the petitioner, as sought for by us on February 25, 2025, filed in Court be taken on record.

2. Commercial quantity of contraband was seized from the possession of the petitioner.

3. Petitioner is otherwise unable to overcome the restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, 1985.

4. The health condition of the petitioner, as appearing from the report submitted in Court today, demonstrates that, the petitioner underwent surgery and is scheduled for second surgery. After the first surgery, petitioner is loosing body weight and his general condition poor. In fact, the medical opinion is that, his general condition is getting poor day by day.

5. Considering such health condition, we grant interim bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, we direct that the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Learned Court of Additional District and Sessions Judge, 6th Court at Barasat, North 24 Parganas, subject to condition that the petitioner shall appear before the learned trial court on every date of hearing until further orders and shall not intimidate witnesses and/or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever.

In the event, the petitioner fails to comply with the conditions as enshrined hereinbefore, it is open to the trial court to cancel the bail without further reference to this Court. 8.

Interim Bail will be for a period of six weeks from date. 9.

List the application one month hence, when the petitioner will produce the medical documents relating to his treatment undergone in the meantime.
