The petitioner intends to be appointed as a primary school teacher. He passed the TET-2014 examination and was called for interview by the Board in December 2016.

The petitioner submits that since thereafter the Board has not processed his candidature.

The petitioner has annexed document in support of his date of birth.

It appears that he was born on 21st September, 1969. Admittedly, in December 2016 when he was called for interview he was over aged.

The age limit for being appointed as primary school teacher is 40 years. accordingly there is no

scope or chance for the petitioner to be appointed as a primary school teacher at this stage.

In view of the above, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant writ petition.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. The connected application is also dismissed.

The contempt application also stands dismissed. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon completion of usual legal formalities.
