By the order dated 20th December, 2024, the writ petition was dismissed for default.

Lakshmi Nath Bhattacharya, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that due to his illness, he left the Court early on the day the matter was taken up, resulting in dismissal of the writ petition. He seeks for restoration of the writ petition by recalling the order dated 20th December, 2024.

Ms. Tuli Sinha, learned advocate appearing for the State-respondents leaves the matter to the discretion of the Court.

Considering the submission advanced on behalf of the petitioner and the averments made in the application, it is found that sufficient cause has been shown to restore the writ petition.

Accordingly, the order dated 20th December, 2024 is recalled.

The writ petition is restored to its original file and number.

The application for restoration being CAN 1 of 2024 is disposed of.
