Petitioner before us is the husband of the victim. Victim recorded her statement before the doctor treating her where, she says that, she was forcefully made to ingest pesticide by the petitioner as well as the parents-inlaw. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

CRM(A) 5743 of 2023 is dismissed.
