None appears for the private respondents despite service.

Heard learned counsels for the parties.

On prayer of the petitioner leave is granted to incorporate "respondent No.4" in place and stead of "respondent No.3" in prayer (a) of the writ petition. The prayer be amended accordingly.

It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that an application filed by the petitioner before the 4th respondent seeking permission to effect essential repairs to her rented premises has not been considered by the said respondent till date. The petitioner prays for a direction upon the concerned authority to consider the said application at the earliest.

Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider and dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner dated 3rd October, 2023 within two weeks from the date of communication of this order upon affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioner and the private respondents, in accordance with law.

The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. With the above observations and directions the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
