A report dated January 22, 2025, in compliance with the direction dated January 21, 2025, is filed on behalf of the District Inspector of Schools (PE), Purba Bardhaman, the respondent no.4 herein; let it be kept with the record.

It appears from the said report that the amount required to be refunded by the petitioner to get the benefit of pension, has been calculated and has been communicated to the petitioner. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the said amount has already been deposited on February 12, 2025 under T.R. Form No.7. He files photocopy of the said Form; let it be kept with the record.

In view of such development, the respondent no.4 is directed to prepare the pension papers of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from date of communication of this order, and thereafter shall send the same to the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, Government of West Bengal, the respondent no.3 herein who shall within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the pension papers, shall take forward steps for issuance of necessary Pension Payment Order in favour of the petitioner in accordance with law.

It is needless to mention that the arrear pension shall be calculated from the date following the date of retirement. WPA 71 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
