1. Learned advocate for the State has produced a report dated 4th April, 2024 of Hirapur P.S Case No. 289/15 under Sections 447/427/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code along with Section 3(i)(x) S.C/S.T Act submitted by S.I. of Police, Hirapur P.S ADPC along with the photocopies of judgment and order of Judge, 1st Special Court, Burdwan, DistrictPurba Bardhaman passed in connection with Spl. (SC/ST) Case no. 04 of 2017 dated 18th November, 2021. This report is kept with the record.

2. It appears from the said order and judgment that the petitioners/accused Shilbant @ Silvant Kumar Singh alias Mahato & Anr. and Ajit Kumar Singh @ Mahato are found not guilty of the offence punishable under Sections447/427/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and they

were acquitted from the said charges in accordance with the provision of Section 235(1) of the Cr.P.C.

3. The petitioners pray for quashing of the criminal proceeding in this revisional application. Now, after passing out of the order of their acquittal in the said pending Spl case no. 4 of 17, the revisional application has lost its relevance and became infructuous.

4. Accordingly, the instant revisional application is dismissed as infructuous.

5. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

6. Urgent photostat copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
