Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the application filed by her seeking interim maintenance in M. Case no. 244 of 2024 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court, Basirhat, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite parties. The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. It appears that the petition filed by the petitioner seeking interim application is yet to be considered by the learned trial Court and several adjournments have been granted by the learned Court. In view of the above, the learned trial Court is directed to consider and dispose of the application for interim maintenance filed by the petitioner on the next date of hearing fixed before him and if the same is not possible due to unavoidable circumstances, within two months thereafter, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to both the parties, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

CRR 5389 of 2024 is disposed of.
