Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the present police case is counterblast to the previous complaint of murder lodged in respect of the family members of the petitioners.

Learned advocate for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. He submits that, the present police case relates to an incident subsequent to the murder. The petitioners went to take revenge of the murder. In the present police case, one person suffered bullet injury and the others suffered injuries by sharp cutting weapons. The case diary contains medical documents of a person suffering bullet injury. Other persons suffered injuries by sharp cutting weapons. Three injured recorded statements under Section 161 of the Criminal Procedure Code where, they named all the petitioners as perpetrators of the assault.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners in the incident as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected. CRM (A) 11 of 2024 is dismissed.
