We have considered the materials on record.

Statement of the mother of the victim who is a mentally challenged lady implicates the petitioner in the offence of rape.

In view of vulnerable status of the victim and gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected.
