On prayer of the petitioner, liberty is granted to correct the cause title of the application.

Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the application filed by her under Section 23(1) of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 being C. Case no. 263 of 2024 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court, Basirhat, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite parties. The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. Since the application filed by the petitioner under Section 23(1) of the 2005 Act is pending, the learned trial Court is directed to consider and dispose of the application as expeditiously as possible, preferably within three months from next date of hearing fixed before him, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

CRR 5393 of 2024 is disposed of.
