1. Petitioner before us was enlarged on bail in a different police case lodged by the same de facto complainant on February 21, 2025 passed in CRM (DB) 4372 of 2024.

2. Period of detention of the petitioner is 85 days.

3. Police needs a further time to submit the charge sheet as submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. In such circumstances, we deem it appropriate to grant bail to the petitioner considering her gender and her period of detention.

5. Accordingly, we direct that the petitioner, namely, Mitali Chanda, shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local,

to the satisfaction of the Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chandannagore, Hooghly, subject to conditions that the petitioner shall appear before the learned trial court on every date of hearing until further orders and shall not intimidate witnesses and/or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever. 6.

In the event, the petitioner fails to comply with the conditions as enshrined hereinbefore, it is open to the trial court to cancel the bail without further reference to this Court.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed.

CRM (DB) 4437 of 2024 is disposed of.
