Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that there is a mistake in the school registration certificate of the petitioner regarding his date of birth. After some persuasion, the school authorities forwarded the correction to the Board for necessary updation of records, but the Board has not given effect to the same. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent Board denies the allegations and submits that correction has already been effected by the Board, which will be available at the official website.

Therefore, the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach the respondent Board authorities for getting a copy of the corrected registration certificate at the earliest. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

As affidavits were not called for, allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Parties shall act on a server copy downloaded from the official website of this Court.
