Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

In an incident of assault two persons died.

The post-mortem report of the two victims suggests that they were murdered.

The statements of the eye-witnesses recorded under Sections 161 and 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure implicate the petitioner in such incident.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 5758 of 2023 is dismissed.
