Ms. Salma Sultana Saha Mr. Sani Hossain Mr. Mohinuddin Mondal Mr. Miraj Hossain ...for the petitioner Mr. Chandri Charan De Mr. Anirban Sarkar ...for the State The petitioner alleges that the concerned Block Land & Land Reforms Officer has installed a signboard on the property of the petitioner being LR Dag nos. 825 and 826, in Mouza Dadpur, under District North 24 Parganas. Pursuant to the order dated 10th November, 2025, the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer-II, North 24 Parganas filed a report in Court and the same is taken on record. Mr. Chandi Charan De, learned Additional Government Pleader, submits that the portions of plot nos. 825 and 826 have been vested and the signboard has been erected on the portion of the vested land.

From the document annexed to the report filed by the concerned Block Land & Land Reforms Officer, this Court finds that the plot information has been annexed thereto and the portions of LR plot nos.825 and 826 stood vested and the name of the father of the petitioner has been recorded in respect of plot no.826 measuring about 0.1000 acres and in respect of plot no. 825, the name of the petitioner has been recorded having share of 0.0100 acres.

The learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the vesting of the portion of the aforesaid plots was not done in accordance with law.

Such an issue cannot be gone into by this Court in this writ petition.

In view thereof, WPA 30644 of 2024 stands disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the proper forum for appropriate reliefs in case the petitioner is aggrieved by the vesting of portions of the aforesaid plot. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
