Present petition has been filed for expeditious hearing of C.R. Case no. 376 of 2021 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purba Bardhaman.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the complaint was filed in 2021 and evidence has not started yet. 3.

The Court has considers that there will be no prejudice to either of the parties, if an appropriate direction is issued for expeditious disposal of the matter. Speedy disposal is a part of fundamental right.

Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purba Bardhaman, is directed to dispose of the proceedings in C.R. 376 of 2021 expeditiously in accordance with law without granting any unnecessary adjournments.
