On 16.01.2025, Mr. Jaladhi Das, learned advocate assisted Mr. Swapan Banerjee, learned AGP, but his name did not appear in the said order. His appearance before this Court on the aforesaid date be treated to be part and parcel of the order dated 16.01.2025.

Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

The petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Magrahat Police Station Case No. 400/2024 dated 29.10.2024 has been registered for investigation and subsequently charge-sheet has also been submitted before the jurisdictional court.

In case the petitioner is aggrieved by any act and action of the police authorities, the petitioner would be at liberty to canvass his grievance before the jurisdictional court.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondents submits that the private respondents have also furnished information on the basis of which case has been registered.

Be that as it may, in view of the purpose for which the writ petition was preferred having been subserved, further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 30576 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
