The petitioner says that he is in custody for 352 days. Only 32 fake Indian currency notes of denomination of Rs. 500/- were seized from the three accused persons including this petitioner. Investigation is complete. His further custodial detention is not necessary.

Learned State Advocate tells us that 2 out of 3 accused persons are absconding. A country made fire arm was recovered from this petitioner. Schedules are fixed for framing of charge in April, 2025.

We see that the allegation is serious. Fake Indian currency notes affect the national economy as a whole. Two accused persons are absconding. Charge is yet to be framed. The petitioner appears to be having criminal antecedents. 4.

In view of the aforesaid, we are not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, at this stage.

CRM (DB) 8 of 2025 is, thus, dismissed.
