1. Affidavit of service filed in court be kept on record.

2. The petitioner seeks compensation for the collapse of her building which was situated adjacent to the canal in which works had been undertaken.

3. The petitioner submits that during such works being conducted, the house which belonged to her had been damaged and then ultimately collapsed leading to severe inconvenience and prejudice to her.

4. For such purpose she had made multiple representations to the concerned authorities which have not been considered in any manner whatsoever.

5. The respondents are represented. It is an admitted position that the house complained of did collapse. However, it is in dispute as to who is the owner of

the house was as well as whether the house collapsed due to the damage caused by the work being done in the canal.

In the circumstance aforestated, the respondent no. 6 is directed to consider and dispose of the representations made by the petitioner on February 12, 2024 as well as on December 13, 2024 upon giving a hearing to all the parties concerned, upon adequate prior notice to all of them. Such hearing of representations are to be concluded and a reasoned order passed therein within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

7. With this aforestated direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

8. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

9. Since no affidavit is called for, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied.
