Petitioner complains that petitioner was assaulted, his mobile phone was snatched, the business was stopped as the shop was shut down at the behest of one Khadya Karmadhyakshya. To that effect information was furnished to the police authorities. However the police authorities did not take any action.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondents submits that pursuant to a case being registered, the private respondents appeared and were granted bail by the jurisdictional court. Learned advocate for the state has submitted a report. Report reflects that Tamluk PS Case No.

1138/2024 dated 24.12.2024 was registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of BNS, 2023.

Having regard to the steps taken by the police authorities I am of the view that the purpose for which the present writ petition has been preferred has been subserved.

However, the police authorities will continue to keep a strict vigil and ensure that no breach of the peace and/or any untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship amongst the parties. With the aforesaid observations WPA 30649 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
