Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioners be kept with the record.

The petitioners are confirmed Assistant Teachers of two different primary schools under DPSC, Purba Bardhaman, the respondent no.6 herein, they are praying intra-district mutual transfer.

The representation of the petitioners to the said effect is pending consideration before the Chairman of the Council; the said representations dated October 25, 2024, forms part of the writ petition being Annexure-P/2.

The said Chairman is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

In the event, it is found that the learning process of the students of the respective schools of the petitioners would not be affected if the prayer of the petitioners is allowed, then the respondent no.6 shall take forward steps for mutual transfer of the petitioners expeditiously.

WPA 30492 of 2024 is thus disposed of without any order as to costs.

No affidavit since has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
