C.R.R. 5433 of 2024 Re: Jaydeep Ghosh @ Joydeep Ghosh Ms. Munmun Ganguly Mr. Arnab Nandi ... For the Petitioner The petitioner has assailed the orders dated 4th October, 2024 and 26th November, 2024 respectively passed by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sealdah, South 24 Parganas in G.R. case no. 1201 of 2024 in connection with Chitpur Police Station case no. 117 dated 28th June, 2024 directing issuance of warrant of arrest against him. It appears that warrant of arrest was issued against the petitioner on 4th October, 2024 upon submission of charge sheet by the investigating officer.

The petitioner undertakes to surrender before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate within four weeks from date. If the petitioner surrenders before the learned Magistrate within four weeks from date and files an application for bail, the learned Magistrate shall deal with the same in accordance with law. In the event the petitioner fails to surrender before the learned Magistrate within the stipulated time frame, the learned Magistrate shall be at liberty to take necessary steps against the petitioner in accordance with law without further reference to this Court.

Warrant of arrest issued vide orders dated 4th October, 2024 and 26th November, 2024 respectively be stayed till 8th April, 2025.

CRR 5433 of 2024 is disposed of.
