1. This revisional application has been filed with a prayer for expeditious disposal of G.R. Case No. 8118 of 2020 corresponding to Dum Dum Police Station Case No. 944 of 2020 dated 15.12.2020 under Sections 341/ 323/ 325/ 506/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

2. Considering the nature of prayer no notice is required to be served upon the opposite parties. Accordingly, service of notice upon the opposite parties stands dispensed with.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that after framing of charge in this case, the case was fixed for evidence on four occasions in the span of two years but no witness could be examined. That apart it is submitted that petitioner/accused is a senior citizen.

4. Considering the trying situation, Learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Barrackpore is requested to dispose of G.R. Case No. 8118 of 2020 corresponding to

Dum Dum Police Station Case No. 944 of 2020 dated 15.12.2020 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within six months from the date of communication of this order.

5. I make it clear that Learned Magistrate shall not allow any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties.

6. With the aforesaid observation, the revisional application stands disposed of.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.

8. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

9. Petitioner is at liberty to communicate this order to the Learned Magistrate for information and compliance. (Bibhas Ranjan De, J.)
