Learned advocate for the petitioner, State and the private respondent no.4 are present.

Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that his representation with the Officer-in-Charge, Kaliganj P.S. did not yield any result.

In view of the relevant provisions of the BNSS, 2023 if the Officer-in-Charge do not take any action it would be incumbent to inform the Superintendent of Police of the district concerned and if the superior officer do not act, the petitioner would be at liberty to file an application under Section 175 of the BNSS.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 30733 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
