The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at Khejurkuthi Special Primary School, a school under Keshiyari-II Circle of Paschim Medinipur District Primary School Council. The petitioner had applied for transfer on medical ground through Utasashree portal and is praying such transfer on the said ground.

Mr. Ghosh Chowdhury, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that his client is not willing to press her prayer for transfer on the said medical ground instead she prays that leave may be granted to her to apply for transfer on the ground that her school is far away from her residence. The petitioner since is not pressing her prayer for transfer on medical ground, WPA 30813 of 2024 is dismissed without any order as to costs.

This order however will not prevent the petitioner to apply for transfer on distance ground. If such a prayer is made, the concerned authority shall consider it strictly in accordance with law.
