The private respondents are not being represented in spite of service.

The petitioners are alleging that the private respondents have encroached upon the Government vested land, which is situated in front of the 'Bastu' land of the petitioners and due to the said encroachment the petitioners are facing difficulties in the ingress and egress to their land. The petitioners have a pending representation before the Sub-Divisional Officer, Egra, District - Purba Medinipur, the respondent no. 4 herein, praying removal of such encroachment. The said representation dated December 02, 2024 forms part of the writ petition being Annexure -'P4'. The petitioners are complaining that the said representation has failed to draw attention of the said respondent.

The respondent no. 4 is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation in accordance with law after giving all concerned, opportunity of hearing as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

W.P.A. 30973 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
