1. The petitioner renews his prayer for bail which was rejected earlier on November 13, 2024, i.e., exactly three months ago. He says that there is inadequate progress in the trial. On the ground of delay, he renews his prayer for bail.
2. We see that 450 gms of heroine and other contraband items were seized from the joint possession of three accused persons including this petitioner. The seizure Signed By :

list names this petitioner. The material on record is overwhelming against this accused person.
3. In view of the restrictions in Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage.
4. The application for bail is, thus, dismissed
5. However, we note the submission on behalf of the State that there are only six charge sheet named witnesses and the trial is likely to conclude within a short period of time.
6. If the trial does not conclude within a reasonable period of time, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.

8. Criminal Section is directed to supply certified copies of this order to the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
