Mr. Rahaman appearing for the respondent bank submits that policy No.420886420 is lying with them and upon submission of the requisites as indicated in the letter of July 8, 2015 by the petitioner, the bank will take necessary steps to ensure that the account of the petitioner maintained with the bank is duly credited by the Life Insurance Corporation with the appropriate amount as stipulated in the policy.

Mr. Das appearing for the petitioner also seeks a direction on the respondent bank to consider and dispose of the representation dated February 6, 2023 upon giving a hearing to the petitioner.

The petitioner is directed to furnish the requisites in terms of the letter of July 8, 2015 by January 30, 2026 to the bank authorities, who will take immediate steps to have

the account of the petitioner credited by the Life Insurance Corporation upon furnishing such requisite documents. 4.

The respondent No.4 is directed to dispose of the representation upon prior notice to the petitioner and upon hearing of the petitioner by February 15, 2026. 5.

With the aforestated direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

6. Since affidavits have not been called for, allegations contained in the petition are deemed to have been denied. 7.

There shall be no order as to costs.
