Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits she is no way connected with the management of the pension funds of the former employees of Durgapur Steel Plant. She was not aware how monies credited in her account. Her daughter is ill and accordingly she prays for anticipatory bail. 2.

Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits petitioner is a conspirator in the illegal diversion of pension funds of formal employees of Durgapur Steel Plant. Large volume of stolen cash was diverted through her account.

We have considered the materials on record.

Allegations in the FIR show pension funds of formal employees of Durgapur Steel Plant was misappropriated. Misappropriated amount was routed through the petitioner's account. Stolen

cash has not yet been recovered. In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and gravity of the offence involving misappropriation of the post retirement benefits of retired employees we are of the opinion custodial interrogation of the petitioner is necessary and this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to her.
