The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at Narayanpur N.B.F.P. School, a school under Bhatar Paschim circle of Purba Bardhaman District Primary School Council.

The petitioner is praying transfer to any school under the said council nearer to her residence on the ground that she has suffered Brain-stroke twice and has become paralytic. The council though has allowed the prayer of the petitioner by proposing her transfer to Railway Mahila Samity F.P. School under Sadar Urban - I circle of the said council but it was not given effect to find out a teacher in place of the petitioner.

Mr. Acharyya, learned advocate for the council files a report dated February 20, 2025 of the council where it has been disclosed that one Mr. Hriday Kumar Ghosh has been proposed to transfer to the present school of the petitioner to fill up the vacancy that would occur on the transfer of the petitioner.

In view of such development, the proposal of transfer of the petitioner be given effect to as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law.

WPA 31023 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
