JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by T.S. SIVAGNANAM, C.J.) 1.

This appeal by the private respondents in W.P.A. 16120 of 2024 is directed against the order dated November 29, 2024.

On going through the order, we find that the direction issued was only to consider the representation sent by the petitioners in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of the order in the writ petition and a reasoned order be passed and communicated to

the petitioners. The appellants cannot be said to be aggrieved by the said order.

However, it is made clear that before considering the representation of the writ petitioners and passing reasoned order, the appellants shall be put on notice and after hearing them, the direction issued by the learned Single Bench shall be complied with.

The time stipulated in the order passed by the learned Single Bench is extended for a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of server copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations/directions, the appeal stand disposed of. 6.

No costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities. (T.S. SIVAGNANAM) CHIEF JUSTICE I agree.
