1. Affidavit of service is taken on record.

2. Petitioner has aggrieved by the exorbitant electricity bills raised by the respondent.

3. Learned counsel for the respondent authority submits that the grievance of the petitioner can be raised before the Regional Grievance Redressal Officer (RGRO) under clause 3.5.1 of the West Bengal Central Electricity Commission notification dated 7th August 2013.

4. It is further submitted that if the petitioner is aggrieved by the order of the RGRO, he can prefer an appeal before the Ombudsman.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition to approach the RGRO in accordance with law.

6. Liberty is granted to him to approach the RGRO.

7. It is clarified that in case the petitioner approaches the RGRO within 2 weeks from server copy this order, the RGRO will consider

his grievance on merit as expeditiously as possible.

8. Present writ petition is dismissed as not pressed with the above terms.
